The Handmaid's Tale: 6 Ups And 1 Down From 'Holly'

Downs...

1. Not An Awful Lot Happens

Finding anything wrong with The Handmaid's Tale is incredibly tough on any given week, and it was even harder this week. However, there was one achingly frustrating thing about Holly, and that's that not very much happens.

Sure, June goes into labour and delivers her baby in the dead of night like the badass that she is, but in the grand scheme of things, the story hasn't progressed much further from last week's episode which is unusual for the hit series. Having said that, Holly is one of the shortest episodes of the series so far and, while that would be usually something to complain about, the shortened length is completely warranted given the nature of the episode.

It's completely understandable as to why very little happens in this episode, but considering the events of last week's episode, we were expecting the pace to pick up. But this is a minor price to pay for the wonderful episode that we got.

As usual, there's barely anything to complain about when it comes to The Handmaid's Tale.
