The Handmaid's Tale Season 2: 7 Ups & 3 Downs From 'Seeds'

2. Luke & Moira's Absence

Much like last week's episode, Luke and Moira — and the entire Canadian arc — was absent from Seeds. The pair are currently living in Toronto, which is a safe zone, free from the laws of Gilead. Last time we saw them was in Episode 3, where we learned that Moira was still meeting up with women under the alias of Ruby — the name she used when she worked as a prostitute in Boston club Jezebels.

The show has taken quite a few time-jumps in the June/Gilead arc, so it'll be intriguing to see what's going on with Luke and Moira now that some time has passed. With June coming to her senses and realising that she needs to escape again, could Moira and Luke perhaps come to her rescue?

It's an interesting theory. But we'll not find out if the two characters aren't back on our screens sometime soon.
