2. The Names Of The Handmaids Revealed

June. Brianna. Alma. Dolores. That was what echoed through the supermarket in Gilead as the handmaids finally introduced themselves to each other.

While we've known June and Emily's names for quite some time, many of the other handmaids have only been referred to by their Gilead names. Well, not any more. As the world of Gilead gets harsher, the handmaid's are getting stronger and more rebellious. No longer will they communicate via their pleasant greetings, instead they will speak to one another like human beings.

Props to Janine for laughing when Dolores revealed her name. A little humour in such dark situation lightened the mood and gave us hope that, no matter how bad life can get, there is always hope of a better tomorrow.

Again, another incredibly powerful scene. The women take back the power in plain sight.
