1. Moira's Girlfriend

It was tough to find anything wrong with this episode, but there was one thing that felt a little contrived.

Through a series of flashbacks, we discovered that Moira had a serious girlfriend named Odette before Gilead. We get the impression that Moira really loved this woman, and it was emotional to watch the tragic love story unfold.

But it all felt a little contrived because there has never been a mention of Odette before now. Moira has appeared in plenty of June's flashbacks and she never once spoke about her girlfriend, nor did she ever mention her during the show's present day storylines. Additionally, the surrogate storyline seems like something that would've come up in a conversation before now too, suggesting that it was only added to the narrative in Season 2.

Having said that, the flashback scenes were well written, and we were still reduced to tears once we learned of Odette's death. But it would've had much more of an effect had we known about the character's existence before now.
