The Haunting Of Bly Manor: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best
1. Flora Wingrave
Flora Wingrave is the younger of the Wingrave children, the product of an extremely difficult time in Bly Manor's modern history. Starting off as a typical young cheerful girl, commenting on everything as "perfectly splendid" (which has its own meaning), Flora then develops into the crux for much of the show's events, even acting as the holder of a catalogue of characters in her dollhouse.
Despite the hardships she has endured, Flora is nevertheless a happy and positive character, always on hand to help and be there for the other characters, especially her older brother Miles. As siblings, their trust binds them together and Flora is a pivotal role in the plot to save Miles and Dani towards the end, even putting her own life on the line with the Lady of the Lake. Such a bold move for such a young, sweet character.
She is consistently helpful in keeping the lives of the Bly characters intact, from her and Miles' saving of Dani from the first Lady of the Lake encounter up until the emotionally charged ending, even through the pain of losing her parents and Miss Jessel. Flora Wingrave is a powerful component of the Bly machine, for good reason.
