The Haunting Of Bly Manor: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best
2. Jamie
A manor as large and green as Bly would naturally require a groundskeeper, and Bly Manor's takes the form of sarcastic, tough-talking Jamie. Initially appearing cold and dry, she eventually warms up and reveals her calmer and vulnerable side to Dani, eventually culminating in their mutual discovery of love within one another.
Jamie is the force that grounds Dani and keeps her level-headed, even as the ghostly happenings at Bly ramp up. She was there when Flora discovered Miss Jessel at the lake, and was there to see the Lady of that Lake finally be put to rest, in the most tragic of ways. Jamie ultimately is the recipient of a lot of grief, yet she is also able to look back with some fondness at the events at Bly Manor and understand the love she found there was eternal.
Despite her hardy nature, Jamie remains a pure and positive force for good in Bly as she is there to tend to the residents as much as she's there to tend to the moonflowers. She experiences pain as much as any other character, yet she still perseveres, the ending revelation being a much needed climax of bittersweet resolution.
