9. She Is Royalty
Katan is Mandalorian royalty, with Clan Kryze ruling Mandalore under the rule of Katan's pacifist sister, Duchess Satine.
Katan and Satine did not see eye to eye, with Satine ruling Mandalore with a policy of non-intervention and neutrality. However, Katan yearned to return to the ancient times where the Mandalorians were warriors to be reckoned with, and so joined Death Watch, a terrorist group who shared the same ideals.
Satine saw no point in war and violence, a fact that often led to her arguing with ex-flame Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was this conflict that would often put them at odds, and Katan's actions unintentionally led to her sister's tragic demise at the hands of Maul.
