The Mandalorian: 10 Things We Learned From Star Wars Celebration

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is right up there with the greatest Star Wars offerings of all time, and it even looks as though The Mandalorian is looking towards the prequel for inspiration.

On a purely visual level, The Mandalorian seems to have much more in common with Rogue One and Solo than it does the franchise's more traditional features, but it'll also include one of the newly introduced troopers from the former.

Death Troopers can apparently be seen flanking Giancarlo Esposito's Imperial officer, and though it does create a slight headache in that they didn't feature in the Original Trilogy at all, no fan will complain about them being in the series. They're by far one of the most menacing creations of Disney's Star Wars, towering over stormtroopers and communicating with vocal scramblers, so to see them back in The Mandalorian is a great thing.
