The Mandalorian 2.3 Review - 7 Ups And 1 Down From Chapter 11

Season 2 of The Mandalorian finally gets going with an episode die hard fans are sure to love.

Although the first two episodes of The Mandalorian's second season were both strong, self-contained stories, I was starting to get a little impatient at the lack of movement regarding Din Djarin's search for other Mandalorians in his quest to return The Child to the Jedi.

Thankfully Season 2, Episode 3 - or Chapter 11 - does not disappoint. The episode delivered in all the right ways, finally introducing some of the promised Mandalorians Din had been searching for, and not just any old ordinary Mandalorians either. No major spoilers in the intro! But for fans of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels in particular, this episode is sure to be a super-rewarding watch.

The events of Chapter 10 left Din Djarin, the Frog Lady (that's literally her credit - honest) and The Child slowly drifting through space to their intended destination. Chapter 11 as you would imagine immediately picks up from where it left off, with Mando having to not-so-elegantly guide the Razor Crest (the Peugeot 403 of the Star Wars galaxy) down to the planet's surface. From there the Frog Lady is reunited with her husband, and Din gets pointed in the direction of his Mandalorian brethren.

With some amazing direction from Bryce Dallas Howard and some phenomenal action sequences, Chapter 11 was by far the strongest episode of Season 2 so far. Let's get stuck in...
