The Mandalorian 2.3 Review - 7 Ups And 1 Down From Chapter 11

Ups...

7. The Strong Intro

The Mandalorian Season 2 Razor Crest
Lucasfilm

So far every episode of The Mandalorian has featured a strong enough introduction, but Chapter 11 takes the cake as far as this season is concerned.

The sequence where Din has to guide the Razor Crest to the planet's surface was suitably tense and exciting, backed up by Ludwing Göransson's terrific score. Göransson is one of the most talented composers working in Hollywood currently, and while this isn't to say that his talents haven't been on display in the previous episodes of Season 2, his compositions definitely stood out more this time around.

The intro also features the surprisingly heartwarming reunion between Frog Lady and Frog Man. We can finally rest easy knowing that The Child won't be snaffling her children anytime soon.

All in all, it was just a great way to set the pace for the episode. A strong start that continued throughout.
