Can I keep dedicated an up each week to the Child? I think I can.
I'm not sure... what arc they had this time (maybe learning the value of not eating a Frog Lady's children?), but they had some great moments.
Whether it's fighting with his bowl of chowder or getting to know the tadpole-frog-creatures that hatch from the Frog Lady's eggs, Chapter 11 provides The Mandalorian's breakout star with plenty of opportunities to steal the scene in a way that doesn't intrude on the main narrative.
Also interesting, perhaps, is how The Child's lighter side was on display throughout this episode. There's been plenty of theorising among Star Wars fans that Baby Yoda is being slowly drawn towards the Dark Side, but they're back to understanding the value of life here (or at least when it's not trying to eat their face).

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
