The Mandalorian 2.6 Review - 7 Ups And 1 Down From Chapter 14

4. Boba Gets His Armour Back

Man... I did not think I would be as giddy about this as I ended up being. But goddamn, I love me some Boba Fett. Weird, huh?

With the Empire bearing down on Din and Fennec, Boba makes a dash for the Razor Crest to get his armour back and becomes a one-man cavalry, decimating troopers left right and centre with all the goodies his iconic armour brings (the highlight of course being when he uses his jetpack rocket to take down the fleeing troop transports).

His fighting style also differs to Din's slightly, in that it's less showy and more practical. The Mandalorian is a gunslinger from the Old West, but Boba is ruthless and precise. It's a small distinction, but it further differentiates the two on top of the other elements of Boba's backstory the episode ameliorates shortly after.

This wasn't quite on the level of Ahsoka to me - just personally - but it's still just pure magic and another rousing "isn't Star Wars just the best?" moment in a season already chockfull of them to begin with.
