5. Fennec Shand Returns!

Fennec Shand is back! Because you can't have Ming-Na Wen in Star Wars and then kill her off. It's not allowed!
Yes, the other big reveal in this episode is that Fennec Shand is alive and well and has been working with Boba after he saved her life during the events of Season 1. Shand, like Boba, also gets plenty of opportunity to shine in the episode, and it's just generally pretty great to see the character back after she was prematurely retired last year.
Could Shand have a key role to play in the rumoured Boba Fett spin-off? It seems likely, with this episode establishing that the pair already have a formidable partnership.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
