Another subtle connection to the Clone Wars came up when Djarin rescues The Child from The Client. There's scientist working for The Client who wears a patch sporting an all too familiar symbol.
The Clone Army was created by the Kaminoans on their home world, a planet covered entirely in water. They were experts in the art of cloning. The Kaminoans developed the Clone Army using the DNA of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Part of his price was a clone to raise as his son, who grew up to be Boba Fett, the most notorious Sarlacc food in the galaxy.
The scientist in the employ of The Client wears the symbol of the Kamino cloning facility on his uniform. Considering how desperate The Client and the remnants of Empire want The Child, one can only imagine what their intentions were with an experienced cloning engineer on the team.
