9. Boba Is Alive - Chapter 9
When a TV show about a Mandalorian was announced to be taking place, and that it would be within the timeline of a recently defeated Empire, there was a tonne of speculation about the possible return of this series favourite. Although Boba had some issues in the original trilogy, especially when it came to his pathetic demise, fans everywhere were begging for him to return in order to right those wrongs.
Thankfully they did not have to wait long, as the season opener delivered on two excellent reveals surrounding the former bounty hunter. Firstly, we got the chance to see his armour back in action, as the Marshall that Din encounters - named Cobb Vanth - sports the famous gear that made the hunter so cool.
This was a tease enough, but then the epic ending of the episode finally gave fans what they were looking for. As a shadowy figure overlooks Din's departure from the town, he turns toward the camera and we are greeted with the face of Temuera Morrison.
This moment was shocking, despite being something fans had predicted, and the slow epic reveal was handled with excellence.
