The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Best Moments

The Mandalorian is a show full of fantastic action, fun comedy and entertaining characters. It is relatively rare for the series to delve into dramatic and emotional territory, but at times it does try. The emotional moments of the show have often not fully struck a chord with viewers - that was, at least, until the unbelievably tear-jerking climax of the final episode of Season Two.

Seeing Grogu and Din separate was something at the back of viewers minds for some time, especially seeing as that was the entire goal of the journey. Still, it was something audiences were selectively ignoring until the time came, and blissfully hoping that wherever Grogu went Din would follow.

When the moment finally came, it was handled with pure skill. The decision to have Din remove his helmet was beautiful, and it is a shame that the removal of his face covering had already been used multiple times, as this could have been the perfect time to debut it.

Nevertheless, this scene was given the gravitas and pacing that it required, and paid off the relationship between the two characters. Viewers can only hope that the inevitable reunion is just as powerful.
