The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Biggest Moments And Reveals In "The Heiress"
5. Moff Gideon
It turns out that this Imperial ship is part of Moff Gideon's fleet, and with the four Mandalorians blasting their way through it, it becomes clear that they're going to end up taking what's on board. However, it's at this point Bo-Katan Kryze moves the goalposts and reveals that they don't just want the weapons... they want the ship itself.
Din Djarin isn't happy, but has no choice to go along with their crazy plan. Meanwhile, Gideon orders his men to crash the ship to stop them from taking it. It becomes clear at this point that he's a bit of a fanatic, especially as he finishes the conversation with a resolute, "Long live the Empire!"
The officer in charge (played by Lost's Titus Welliver) guns down the two pilots and starts piloting the ship towards the sea below.
The bounty hunter finally gets to show what he's capable of at this point, blowing up a platoon of Stormtroopers so they're able to reach the cockpit in time and (hopefully) stop it from crashing into the depths of Trask. None of them appear to know it's the Moff pulling the strings, though.
