2. Who Saved Grogu From The Jedi Temple?
Thanks to a fairly large info dump during Chapter 13, fans got a brief glimpse into the history of the adorable Baby Yoda.
When having a telepathic conversation with Ahsoka Tano, we learn three key pieces of information about the child. First and foremost, the biggest piece of information is that Baby Yoda's real name is Grogu.
The second major takeaway here, was that Grogu was being trained, in secret, at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant by several Jedi Masters over the years. None of these Jedi are named, unfortunately, leaving only wild speculation as to who would have known about the child.
Lastly, we learned that Grogu was rescued and hidden by "someone", therefore protecting him from Order 66. Again, no information is given as to who could have saved him or if that person was a Jedi or not. All of this means that there is now a gap of over 20 years between Grogu's last known whereabouts and when Din finds him on Arvala-7.
It is never clear how long the Empire had Grogu in captivity, if at all, before Din retrieves him from the Nikto.
