11. Captain Rex
The Clone Wars was praised by fans for fleshing out the characters of the clones, who had been nothing more than disposable, poorly rendered CGI soldiers in Attack Of The Clones and Revenge Of The Sith. Captain Rex was a particular friend of Tano's, and escaped with her while the majority of his clone brothers succumbed to Order 66, and briefly reappeared during Star Wars Rebels.
Though the character has been canonically retrofitted into Return Of The Jedi's Battle of Endor, it seems like Captain Rex is about to make his first true live-action appearance in Season 2 of The Mandalorian.
After all, The Clone Wars' last four episodes focused on Rex as much as Tano, and while the two were friends, it seems unlikely that the show would have dedicated so much of its finale's screen time to a supporting character if Disney didn't have plans for that character in the near future...
What's more, Temuera Morrison (who played Jango Fett and the clones in Prequels and provided Boba Fett's voice for the re-releases of The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi) is expected to reprise a more iconic role in the series, which means he will already be on board with the franchise... If these rumours are true, who better to play a clone of Jango than the very man who portrayed the bounty hunter all those years ago?
