Perhaps the most anticipated character on this list, the adult Boba Fett is rumoured to make his first Star Wars appearance since 1983.
Canonically last seen falling into the Sarlaac Pit outside Jabba's Palace in Return Of The Jedi a few years before the start of The Mandalorian, fans have been speculating for years how the bounty hunter managed to make his escape.
Since his almost silent debut in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back, the frankly underused character has long been a fan favourite, with audiences lamenting never seeing Boba in his prime.
While Attack Of The Clones' battle between Jango Fett and Obi-Wan, and The Mandalorian's brilliant set pieces, quenched some of this bounty hunter-action-sequence thirst, many fans have been hoping for a return of Star Wars' original badass since Disney's acquisition of the franchise in 2012.
There has even been a fair bit of speculation that the mysterious figure who made a brief appearance at the end of Episode 5 of The Mandalorian's first season was none other than Boba himself.
Temuera Morrison has been confirmed to be appearing in the show's second season, and Disney wouldn't dare having him return without giving the fans what they want.
