The Mandalorian Season 2: Every Rumoured And Confirmed Character So Far

The real star of the show, The Child (affectionally known as "Baby Yoda") became a fan favourite character, pop culture icon and meme staple seemingly overnight. With the precious little cargo surviving the ex-Imperials' numerous attempts to capture him throughout the first season, it's safe to say that the very powerful little Force user is bound to make a return in Season Two of the show.

Whether or not Baby Yoda will remain a series staple, however, is yet to be seen. The titular Mandalorian's character arc (learning how to protect The Child) is seemingly complete, and with him being tasked to return his ward to his people at the end of the first season and the show's already inflated cast of characters, it is difficult to see how exactly Baby Yoda will fit into the next season's storyline.

Still, it's likely we'll see Mando's visit to Baby Yoda's home world, which potentially means we'll be getting a whole host of loveable Yoda people, in all shapes and sizes. Could a cameo from the Grand Master Jedi himself potentially be on the cards?
