The Mandalorian is back, baby! Well, I mean, of course it was coming back. Not only was it a fantastic show in its own right, but it's also the only Star Wars thing made in decades that didn't immediately make the fandom set itself on fire out of pure spite. Hell yeah Disney is gonna milk this one for all it's worth.
The end of the first season left a lot of expectations pretty high, especially considering that it was seemingly promising to answer a question the franchise had been purposefully leaving up in the air since Empire Strikes Back: what species does Yoda belong to?
Well after a year of waiting, we finally have a trailer and a release date. But what can we glean from this trailer? What does it tell us, what does it leave ambiguous, and did it choose the right things to slot into either of those categories?
