5. Who's The Missing Person?

In the new dimension, Prairie runs into a private detective by the name of Karim Washington, who is searching for a missing teenager called Michelle Vu. When he shows a photo to Prairie, though, she's reminded of a boy she knew in Michigan.

So who is this missing teen? Is Michelle someone we have already met, but going by a different name - perhaps even a different gender - in this dimension? What's her place in the story? The search for her is obviously part of it, but it feels like the kind of thing that leads to much bigger mysteries being uncovered. It's the launchpad, not the rocket, and yet this person - and how they end up connecting to Prairie - is likely to be crucial to those events unfolding.
