The OA Season 2: 12 Huge Questions That Must Be Answered

10. Is French Homer?

The OA Questions
Netflix

When searching Prairie's house, Alfonso - aka French - looks in the mirror, but doesn't see himself staring back. Instead, his reflection shows Homer, which raises a fair few questions.

There were previous hints at the two being linked, such as the way they both got scars on their head. This could be taken that Prairie is making Homer (and the rest of the story) up, and his character is based on Alfonso. Him seeing Homer in the mirror is a way of showing us that he's realised her story was a lie.

Alternatively, it could suggest that Homer in one universe is French in this universe, either literally (mind/body/soul) or more figuratively, in terms of what they represent to The OA (her closest follower).
