The Office: 10 Best Episodes Set Outside Of Dunder Mifflin
9. Phyllis' Wedding (S3E15)
If there is one thing that Michael Scott goes crazy for more than anything, it is an office wedding. He saw Jim and Pam, and Dwight and Angela getting married like his children getting married, and he was just as excited for Phyllis's wedding. However, he was more excited for himself than for the bride.
Just how ridiculous Michael could be was on full display at Phyllis' wedding, as he genuinely thought he was the star of the show, and he caused not one, but three scenes. Once when he dragged Phyllis' dad's wheelchair down the aisle, once when he tried to beat the priest to introducing Phyllis and Bob as a couple, and once when he tried to give a VERY unwanted speech.
Despite it being her wedding, this episode very much belonged to Michael, and though it was easy to hate him for how he ruined her day, you also had no choice but to feel sorry for him by the end.
It also drove home that Dunder Mifflin was a family, as even after all this, all the unnecessary cringe and disruption Michael brought to the wedding, Phyllis still loved him, and still offered him a hug and a smile.
