4. Quotable
Jokes have a tendency to grow stale, the more you hear them the less funny they become. But with a great joke there is repeatability. The fact that no matter how many times you hear it its always funny. With a great show its pretty much the same, except you can gage a shows strength on how quotable it is. You know a show is funny when just thinking back on a line can cause your lips to twist into a smile. Or when with a group of friends all you need to do is repeat something Creed, or Pam, or Stanley said and a good hearty laugh follows. Thats the real test of a shows validity, and even after nine seasons The Office still passes with flying colors. Every episode of The Office is chock-full of tasty quotable goodness leaving fans with hours of fun long after the credits have rolled. Whether its Dwight's insightful explanation about the meaning of the name Philadelphia, "The City that loves Adolph." Or Kevin's rant about cupcakes, "Mini cupcakes? As in mini version of regular cupcakes, which is already a mini version of cake." The Office continuously churns out dialogue that is easily comparable to gold.
