14. Frank Vs. The Young Soldier (Episode 7, "Crosshairs")

During Frank's assault on Bennett's compound, he's confronted by a young soldier, who holds him at gunpoint, all while he tries to calm the young recruit down and stop him from getting himself killed.

Frank's confidence at first seems to disarm the soldier, but as Frank walks away, he raises his gun once again, causing Frank to quickly turn around and shoot the kid in the shoulder.

It's an interesting scene because it shows Frank in a rare non-lethal mode going face to face with a young man just doing his job. When Frank returns to the car, he tells Micro, "S***'s a lot easier when you can kill people."

It was just incredibly unexpected to see Frank showing such restraint when it comes to an opportunity to kill someone. Is this progress, perhaps?
