11. Assault On Precinct 13

The third episode of the season is without question one of the best and most memorable, given that it largely serves as an extended homage to John Carpenter's 1976 thriller classic Assault on Precinct 13 (which received a decent remake in 2005).

Closely mirroring the plot of the movie, the episode sees Frank and Amy holed up inside the sheriff’s office of a small town, teaming up with the local cops to fend off John Pilgrim and his fleet of goons who have the place surrounded.

With thunderous shootouts and tripwire tension, it's a successful and undeniable love letter to Carpenter's enduring masterwork.
