The Simpsons: 10 Characters Who Could Definitely Be Killed Off

9. Moe Szyslak

MoeVoiced By: Hank Azaria Emmy Winning Episodes: "Moe Baby Blues" Is the barman about to have time called on his career? Chances Of Dying? One of the better over-riding jokes dedicated to Moe is his eternal quest for suicide, which he has gone through with, presumably unsuccessfully on a number of occasions, so it's unlikely that the show producers and writers will follow through on the flirtation, but Moe is still a reasonably good candidate. Though he is the picture of the cantankerous, slightly weird loner, Moe has a heart, which he has proved with his odd, but warming relationship with Maggie Simpson, and that selflessness could be played on by the writers looking for a grand emotional pay off for a character. If Moe was to die saving Maggie, fans could probably get on board, but you have to suspect that any episode that seriously looks at the issue of suicide, and has Moe take his own life would be slightly too weighty. How He Should Die Either getting in the way of an off-the-wagon Barney, or Homer finally realising that the barman has long been making a play for his wife "Midge."
