The Simpsons: 10 Giant Plot-Holes You Probably Missed

1. The Ever-Changing Florida Ban

Florida At the end of the Season 11 episode "Kill The Alligator and Run", a Florida court judge bans the Simpsons from entering Florida ever again, and every other state besides Arizona and North Carolina, as punishment for their treatment of the state's beloved alligator mascot Captain Jack. However, the Simpsons have returned to Florida twice since this episode aired (they visit Epcot Center in "Special Edna", and Marge and Homer go to Miami in "Catch 'Em If You Can") as well as many other states. And in an utterly meaningless yet fascinating development in real life, in 2013 Universal Studios opened a brand new theme park replica of the Simpsons home town Springfield...in Orlando, Florida. What part of "never come back" don't they get?

Hi there, What Culture-ers! I'm William Graff, a 40-year old freelance writer from the wilds of Capitol Hill in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I enjoy many things such as beer, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, record collecting, stand-up comedy, long aimless walks, and of course the Broncos, which is required by law if you live here. I appreciate all feedback for my writing, but I prefer cash and/or deleted Smiths singles in lieu of praise. Rock on!
