1. The Ever-Changing Florida Ban
At the end of the Season 11 episode "Kill The Alligator and Run", a Florida court judge bans the Simpsons from entering Florida ever again, and every other state besides Arizona and North Carolina, as punishment for their treatment of the state's beloved alligator mascot Captain Jack. However, the Simpsons have returned to Florida twice since this episode aired (they visit Epcot Center in "Special Edna", and Marge and Homer go to Miami in "Catch 'Em If You Can") as well as many other states. And in an utterly meaningless yet fascinating development in real life, in 2013 Universal Studios opened a brand new theme park replica of the Simpsons home town Springfield...in Orlando, Florida. What part of "never come back" don't they get?
