The Simpsons: 10 One-Off Characters Voiced By Hank Azaria
5. The Grumple
Appearance: "Kill Gil Vols.1 & 2", Season 18. As is his greatest skill, Homer managed to make an enemy at a Christmas ice skating show, angrily holding The Grumple's own skate against his throat, threatening the Grumple with harm unless he "give back that Holiday cheer!" This one moment alone was laughable, but not too memorable, until Christmas morning when The Grumple stood outside the Simpsons' house, brandishing a butcher knife ("Grumpily Grumpily Groo! Your blood will make my stew!") Thankfully, Homer and the Grumple made up the following year, with the Grumple- and his family of green-furred monsters- followed the Simpsons to Scottsdale, AZ, to celebrate the holidays. Funniest Moment: Homer, seeking refuge at Moe's Tavern, is attacked again by the Grumple. Homer hits it in the head with a pool cue, knocking it to the ground. A greenish-brown puss drains out of it's eye. Homer: "What the hell is this thing?!?"
