The Simpsons: 10 Underrated Episodes No One Talks About

Whenever The Simpsons has toyed with a change of format, like a musical episode or a clip show, the quality has tended to be quite poor. This particular episode (that absolutely will not be typed out in full again!) however, breaks that trend.
Though not a full musical like season nine's 'All Singing, All Dancing', there is still enough singing in here from Homer, Shary Bobbins, and even Barney Gumble to class as a musical episode, and it is wonderful.
The Simpsons have always been shown to be something of a typical, albeit dysfunctional family, and this is perfectly summed up at the beginning of the episode before it becomes too much for Marge. There are some truly hilarious moments that come from this throughout; from the image of Marge with Homer's hair, to Willie's reaction to seeing Miss Bobbins again, it really is a laugh a minute ride.
Season eight may well be the best the show has ever produced, but this certainly doesn't deserve to be one of its lowest rated episodes as it is according to IMDb. Shary Bobbins and Grandpa taking her umbrella by mistake simply deserve better than that.
