The Simpsons: 15 Celebrity Appearances You Might Have Missed
12. Jeff Goldblum
Episode: A Fish Called Selma (Season 7) Here's another from the Neil Patrick Harris school of randomly turning up in the middle of nowhere, and never being seen again. Jeff Goldblum, of Jurassic Park and Independence Day fame, had a very quick role during the seventh season. The name MacArthur Parker might not mean anything to you, but for the dedicated Simpson's fans out there, Troy McClure's agent might ring a bell. Parker calls up McClure during A Fish Called Selma to get back in touch with his former client after eight years following the film star's return to success, with Selma Bouvier by his side. Goldblum doesn't get a great amount of dialogue but he nails the typical, sickly Hollywood 'yes man' role. However, his pieces had to be re-recorded at a faster speed to make up for time lost during Troy and Selma's slower conversations during the episode.
