Milhouse is then relentlessly pursued throughout the episode (just as in the movie), and this culminates in a direct parody of the famous dam drainpipe scene from the film, with Milhouse protesting his innocence, while a Tommy Lee Jones-esque cop says, "I don't care" (a classic line from the film). Just as Ford does in the movie, Milhouse jumps from the drainpipe, landing in the water at the bottom and screaming, "My glasses!" The Simpsons has done many film parodies over the years, though this is certainly one of the most memorable.
