The Simpsons: 20 Best Movie Parodies
8. Pulp Fiction
Seen in: 22 Short Films About Springfield (Season 7, Episode 21)
The Simpsons must contain the largest supporting cast of any TV show ever so it only made sense to once let all those Springfielders carry an episode, with this prosaically-titled instalment being carved up into - you guessed it - 22 skits each starring a different character.
With several separate but interconnected stories, the episode is of course a take-off of Quentin Tarantino's iconic Pulp Fiction.
The episode lampoons several of the film's famous scenes, including the Springfield cops' version of the oft-quoted "Royale with cheese" scene ("Shakes? You don't know what you're getting!") as well as the "Gold Watch" segment in which Kirk, Snake and Wiggum are tied up by Herman in his store just like Butch and the unfortunate Marsellus are in the film.
