6. Brainwash Krusty To Do It

In the episode €œDay of the Jackanapes€ Sideshow Bob brainwashes Bart to try to murder Krusty during (yet another) of Krusty€™s farewell retirement shows. The plan had involved strapping explosives to Bart and trying to make him hug Krusty, an act which would set off the explosives, in order to kill off both of his enemies at the same time. However Bob is touched after hearing Krusty give a speech about how he regretted treating his sidekick so poorly and so he stops Bart before he can hug Krusty. Given that Bob has shown himself capable of brainwashing someone in the past though, it doesn't seem too unlikely that a reverse of this scenario could play out in the Treehouse of Horror episode, with Bob brainwashing Krusty to kill Bart. The added emotional pain that being betrayed be his hero would cause for Bart is something that would no doubt be one of the main aspects about this plan that would make it so appealing to Bob. And given that the plan would also allow him to kill Krusty, or at least scar him for life for having murdered his biggest fan, that would just be the icing on the cake. Although things may only play out this way if Bob finds himself capable of resisting the pleasure of killing Bart himself.
