2. Blowing Him Up

In previous episodes of the show Sideshow Bob has shown himself to have a pretty adept knowledge and love of explosives. This is first evidenced when he fills his hotel room with gas and leaves his new wife, Bart€™s Aunt Selma, in the room knowing that it would explode when she lit her cigarette (a plan which Bart yet again foiled). In a later episode he then stole a 10-megaton nuclear weapon and threatened to detonate it unless Springfield shut down all television broadcasts. Also to quote Bob himself in the episode where his brother Cecil tries to frame him for blowing up Springfield Dam, €œYou don€™t spend ten years as a homicidal maniac without learning something about dynamite€. And let's of course not forget the example from earlier in the article when he essentially turned Bart into a suicide bomber. Therefore, given Bob€™s penchant for plans involving explosions, it€™s not too unlikely to think that his plan for Bart in this year€™s Treehouse of Horror might result in Bart going out with a bang.
