The Simpsons: All Of Bart's Love Interests, Ranked Worst To Best
3. Jenda
With the rules about who would and wouldn’t count laid out in the introduction, you could be forgiven for thinking that Jenda (technically a non-canon entry) would be excluded from the list. However, the flash forward episodes she featured in have their own mini-arc and she’s much more developed than a throwaway character for a sidegag or spoof, so she’s earned her spot.
These technicalities aside, she’s definitely worthy of this bronze medal placing. Amy Poehler is a much-needed addition to the story, really selling the idea that the characters’ lives go on in the years we don’t see them.
She’s a great match for Bart as well, with her skater girl personality mixed with a friendly warmth the exact type of girl he’d respond to. Her break up unfortunately feels too rushed, used as a tool to push the Bart vs Lisa angle, but they get a lot out of her while she’s there.
Clearly they get back together as they have two kids in a later Christmas themed flash forward, though they’re divorced when we see Bart stuck looking after the kids for Christmas. Good while it lasted, though.
