The Simpsons: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

7. Season 10

The Simpsons
20th Television

Often cited as the final season of The Simpsons' golden age, season 10 is undeniably not as character-driven as earlier seasons, but is propped up by impressive gags, great laughs and a series of undeniably fantastic episodes.

In the "The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace," Homer becomes an inventor, and in "Mayored to the Mob," he becomes Mayor Quimby's bodyguard. We also get to see Homer and Ned hit Vegas and end up drunkenly married to casino waitresses, and Homer changes his name to Max Power.

Also, "The Lard of the Dance" might just be the show's greatest premiere episode, starting things off with a major high the rest of the season refuses to squander.
