Christophers Intervention
In The Strong Silent Type (series 4, episode 10) Carmela discovers that Christopher has beaten up Adriana. Uncle Junior says that Christopher is like a dog with rabies and advises Tony to put him out of his misery. Instead an intervention is organised for Christopher. Dominic, who heads the intervention, has advised everyone to be non-judgemental and to stick to the facts. This advice goes out of the window and the session ends in a fight. Christopher is taken to hospital. Here we see the extraordinary range of Gandolfinis acting ability. Initially appearing to be the caring uncle, he soon morphs into a menacing mob boss and threatens Christophers life. The attached clip also shows a sadly accurate prediction.
