7. The Simpsons & Marvel Shows

While there was lots of talk of Disney INEVITABLY cancelling The Simpsons because it would be way too expensive an ongoing concern for them, the decision to buy Fox's catalogue is partly because of the content Disney now have to add to Disney+. And in amongst the many, many movies they picked up and will debut on the platform at launch, they're also rolling out The Simpsons on there too.

Considering how difficult streaming The Simpsons has traditionally been in the UK, that's actually a good thing (even with it airing a couple of times thanks to Sky and Channel 4 every day). Americans had the show on Hulu, which Disney now owns a majority share in, and have announced that The Simpsons will air EXCLUSIVELY on Disney+, so you have to suspect they're taking it off Hulu too.

Disney + also has a number of huge shows available. In terms of older shows, the stand-outs are Marvel shows like Agents of SHIELD, even with it ending, and Star Wars shows, plus a host of Marvel animations like the classic 1992 X-Men. Other than that, they don't appear to be adding Fox shows to launch, perhaps leaving it all to Hulu, which means no Family Guy unless you pick up Hulu.

In terms of future favourites, there's also obviously the small matter of the Marvel Phase 4 TV shows, including Loki, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier and She-Hulk, among many others.

Now onto your favourite NBC shows...
