4. #6: The Horror, Aka Ben Hargreeves
The Horror, aka Ben Hargreeves, is codenamed Number Six in the pages of The Umbrella Academy. And this sixth sibling is a very interesting one, to say the least, and looks like he may not be featured within the Netflix show’s storyline.
The sixth hero in the lineup is the most mysterious member of the Academy. Mainly because there is very little known about The Horror. One thing that readers of the series have been privy to is that he has the ability to summon inter-dimensional demons from beneath his skin. This usually comes in the form of tentacles that sprout from his chest area.
All we know for sure is that Ben Hargreaves died sometime before the opening events of Apocalypse Suite. The specifics of his demise remain a mystery, but Spaceboy does feel guilty for whatever went down.
From the marketing material and the mysterious character poster, all we know is that Number Six is super dead. So he could very well be in the series but right now his involvement in the series is shrouded in mystery and the casting, if any, is unknown at this time.
