The Umbrella Academy Season 2: 10 Shocking Comic Moments That Must Happen

There are a lot of important things that happen in the volume of Umbrella Academy titled Hotel Oblivion. But there's also a huge chicken that's used as a horse, and by god, it needs to appear in the show at some point.

There are some legitimate reasons for this. Firstly, it's a good way to gently ease into some of the absolute madness found in the later volumes of the series, as otherwise there are some events could create complete tonal whiplash for some unexpecting viewers. Secondly, it's the kind of thing that the internet could easily fall in love with, as it's basically a realistic Chocobo.

But also, on a less practical level, it's just nice to include some silly things from the comic series. Most readers will have likely gotten a chuckle out of seeing the powerful poultry creature show up out of the blue, so it's safe to say the same would happen if it were to appear in the show.
