9. What Happens?

The first season bowed out with catastrophic results as Five and his family were unable to prevent Vanya from causing the apocalypse. It was a fitting cliffhanger that cleverly reset the status quo for the second season - one that made it very hard for the show to top.

Season 2, however, didn't hold back in its attempts to try as the gang's struggle to stop the new apocalypse in 1963 (all while dealing with their feud with The Handler) provided equally as shocking results.

Though Vanya, Five, Allison, Klaus, Luther and Diego successfully stopped the apocalypse (along with the help of their dead brother Ben), they returned home to 2019 to find that things were quite different to how they left them. Not only was their father alive, he had assembled a new team of heroes known as the Sparrow Academy - a team that featured Ben alive and well.
