The Walking Dead: 10 Awesome Comic Book Characters Who Need To Appear
2. Jesus
Paul Monroe was introduced back in issue #91, and has since gone on to become one of the main characters in the entire series, so it should be a given that he'll be appearing at some point. He starts of as a member of the Hilltop Colony, before later moving to Alexandria. Due to his long hair and beard, he receives the nickname Jesus. He becomes an extremely trusted ally of Rick and co., and plays a major part in opposing Negan. He's a skilled tactician and fighter, capable not only in hand-to-hand combat but of escaping from the trickiest of situations, and viewed as a saviour by many of his peers (another reason for the Biblical nickname). He's an extremely loyal and important ally to Rick, and due to his character's ability and personality is one of the most popular figures in the series, which means that if done right he should be one of the best possible additions to the show.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
