The Walking Dead: 10 Awesome Comic Book Characters Who Need To Appear

1. Negan

I've already made mention of Negan a few times throughout this article, which highlights just how big a character he is, and the impact he has on the other survivors and the series as a whole. He's not just a big bad, he's the big bad. A foul-mouthed psychopath, he's the leader of the Saviors and was introduced in issue #100, and was certainly worthy of debuting in that special issue. He loves to make jokes, usually of a very perverse nature, and has a real passion for violence and mayhem, usually carried out with the help of 'Lucille', which is what he calls the baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire that he uses on his victims. Despite his savage nature, he is also shown to be an intelligent person, and one who is very opposed to rape. Negan is the character everyone is waiting for, whether they've read the comics or not. The producers know this, but aren't rushing into things. When he does finally arrive, if they do it properly (which it seems like they will), then all hell is going to break loose, and he could well be one of the best TV villains in recent years.
