9. Tomas
Tomas was part of a small group of surviving inmates that Rick stumbles upon in the prison at the start of season three.
While some of his group members did manage to out live him (and actually join Rick's group) Tomas put up a fight, demanding that he be in charge of the prison. Rick gave Tomas a chance to work together but Tomas couldn't play well with others, attempting to murder Rick during a walker attack.
Rick apparently had no hard feelings, agreeing that "stuff happens" before driving a machete directly into his skull. Tomas' death set the tone for season 3 and for Rick as a fearless leader. Tomas may have only been around for one episode but he was a memorable foe with an even more memorable death.
