The Walking Dead: 10 Best Moments To Relive On DVD/Blu-Ray

2. Carol And Lizzie

Season 4, Episode 14, The Grove. It's quite possibly the greatest ever episode of TWD, pushing TV limits to the extreme, showcasing some truly magnificent acting, and providing some truly startling scenes. It's not enjoyable to watch some of the moments in it, but they're so impressively handled, it's difficult not to appreciate them. Lizzie and Mika are supposed to be the innocent, hope-filled lights in the show. Mika is, but her older sister Lizzie's mind slowly warps. She shockingly kills Mika off-screen, and details her plans to do the same to baby Judith. This leads to a beyond-painful decision to be made by Carol and Tyreese. "Look at the flowers" is all Carol says as she shoots the child from behind to protect the baby from harm. You see? Horrifying, yet utterly engrossing television.
