The Walking Dead: 10 Best Villains From The TV Show

1. The Governor

The Governor went on a rampage over our heroes for a season and a half, slaughtering friends, foes and former lovers in his wake. Though he appeared at first as charming and caring, having forged a community from nothing to protect innocent lives from the undead, it was Michonne who saw through his act upon being taken into Woodbury. We€™d soon learn that he wasn€™t as concerned with human life as he€™d let on, annihilating a military base to scavenge supplies, revealing himself to be a vindictive sociopath. He soon began slaughtering anyone in his wake, including his own right hand, Milton, whom he left to turn and subsequently bite Andrea. He would even turn his gun on his own soldiers. When Woodbury fell, The Governor resumed his evil ways in a new community and immediately led his new faction to take down the prison, executing an attack in which he viciously decapitated Hershel. He then showed little remorse over the death of Meghan. The Governor came very close to killing Rick until Michonne impaled him with her katana, officially putting him to a stop before Lilly could finish the job. Though we have come across many terrible individuals since the passing of David Morrisey€™s brilliantly portrayed Phillip Blake, some with even worse tendencies, The Governor is undoubtedly the best villain that The Walking Dead has seen, due to the sheer impact that he made on the series as a whole.
