The Walking Dead: 10 Best Villains From The TV Show
7. Joe & The Claimers
Joe and his band of marauders waltzed into our lives with a unique approach to life in the world of The Walking Dead. He and his posse would have each others backs, but it wasnt about equality, or making sure that everyone had enough to eat. In a finders keepers approach, members of the group had to claim an item in order to use it as their own. Of course, sometimes it didnt work out, as we saw one group member choke out another just because he wanted to sleep in his bed. The scariest thing about Joe isnt the fact that he planned to murder (or something worse) everyone in Ricks group, after Rick took out a member of his crew, but the fact that he charmed his way into getting Daryl to join their gang before their confrontation at the end of Season 4. A few more weeks with Joe could have potentially warped Daryls outlook on survival. Luckily it didnt come to that, because before Joe could do anything else, Rick viciously bit the throat of his captor and proceeded to slaughter the claimers. Still, Joe posed as a huge question mark as to what Daryl would be like without Rick's gang to keep him grounded. We know that the Dixon brother had originally planned to rob the Atlanta survivors in the shows inaugural season, but it seems his morals were still being tested three seasons on.
